Position Title: Production Manager- Socks

Reports To: Director of Production

Location: New York, NY (on-site)

 

Primary Responsibilities

The production manager for socks will own the pre-production and production for private label and national brands. 

• Can independently manage the sock product category which consists of a high sku count and elevate production issues to the director of production.
• Manage Time & Action calendars, ensure deadlines, and check points are being met along the pre-production lifecycle of the product.

• Work with design and tech on the approval of lab dips, shade bands, PP & TOP samples for bulk production
• Monitor factory’s production capacity weekly to ensure on time delivery.
• Liaison with compliance manager to ensure all fabric colors are approved with CTL/Walmart
• Communicate daily with overseas factories.
• knowledgeable of each retailer’s (Walmart, BJ’s, Lowes) guidelines and packing requirements
• Approve all carton markings and shipping labels.
• Review all Pre-production / TOP submissions with design and creative services team to ensure product has executed as per the retailer’s order.
• Review and action upon all packaging submissions for fit and content features / testing requirements.
• Partner with QQ team on quality control and final inspections before shipping
• Request all shipping documents needed for logistics to book vessels.
• Communicate with Walmart team / nominated suppliers / and factories on all PRL packaging constructions/content/ order placement!
• Communicate with planning and sales team on delivery extensions.
• Review the production recap weekly to ensure on time delivery to the warehouse!

 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in product development and or production
• Ability to build and manage relationships with cross functional partners and factories.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• Motivated, proactive, highly organized, and strong adaptability

3. A profound knowledge of all Apple MAC programs used for design (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.…)
4. Proficiency with basic computer applications (i.e., MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
5. Have a good fashion sense; being able to recognize new fashion trends and being able to adapt them to our market.
6. Broad experience working with a different fabric including knits, woven, denim and sweaters.
7. Experience designing a variety of products including tops, bottoms, dresses, hoodies, jackets, sweaters, etc.

Production Coordinator  Day to evening, Bridal/Fashion Company is seeking an experienced production coordinator to work closely with our Production Manager and Director of Production and Product Development on various stages of the production.

The ideal candidate must possess high attention to detail, extremely organized, takes initiative, and able to work under pressure/urgency.

We expect that with 2-4+ years of experience in domestic apparel production you will have expert knowledge of efficiently assisting the Production Manager in different aspects of production including reading and utilizing BOM’s, in-house fabric inventory management, actualizing cuts and vendor communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot daily issues

• Daily communication with overseas factories regarding open orders expected deadlines.

• Acting liaison between different departments to coordinate a resolution to a problematic order. Ie. Sales, Tech Design and Shipping

• Generate and submit weekly cutting tickets to factories in assigned product lines

• Validating and monitoring factories WIP reports related to assigned Product Lines.

• Cross check pending orders against bi-monthly factory shipment packing lists

Position Title: Production Manager- UNDERWEAR 

Reports To: Director of Production

Location: New York, NY (on-site)

 

Primary Responsibilities

The production manager for underwear will own the pre-production and production for private label and national brands. 

• Can independently manage the  underwear  product category which consists of a high sku count and elevate production issues to the director of production
• Manage Time & Action calendars and ensure deadlines and check points are being met along the pre-production lifecycle of the product

• Work with design and tech on the approval of lab dips, shade bands, PP & TOP samples for bulk production
• Monitor factory’s production capacity weekly to ensure on time delivery
• Liaison with compliance manager to ensure all fabric colors are approved with CTL/Walmart
• Communicate daily with overseas factories
• now ledgeable of each retailer’s (Walmart, BJ’s, Lowes) guidelines and packing requirements
• Approve all carton markings and shipping labels
• Review all Pre-production / TOP submissions with design and creative services team to ensure product has executed as per the retailer’s order.
• Review and action upon all packaging submissions for fit and content features / testing requirements
• Partner with QQ team on quality control and final inspections before shipping
• Request all shipping documents needed for logistics to book vessels
• Communicate with Walmart team / nominated suppliers / and factories on all PRL packaging constructions/content/ order placement
• Communicate with planning and sales team on delivery extensions
• Review the production recap weekly to ensure on time delivery to the warehouse
