Our Client is Seeking highly organized individual able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about pursuing a career in the fashion industry. As a Sales Assistant, you’ll have the benefit of working alongside a great team -monitoring and tracking samples, inventory, market preparation and daily administrative tasks. Junior, Missy and Plus Size Women’s clothing company is looking for a creative and talented Full Fashion Sweater Technical Designer with Cut and Sew experience to join their team. Candidates should have between 2 and 4 years of experience.
Initiate tech pack from Salesman samples with correct POMs, construction details and graded specs in a timely manner for overseas factories
Accurate measuring and overall quality and fit evaluation of garments prior to live model fittings and participation in all fitting to give accurate information to overseas factories
Send timely, clear fit comments and photos to factories on all corrections and revisions
Understanding of Private Label fit and submission requirements
Clear writing and communication skills with technical design teams at Private Label accounts that maintain professional relationship with accounts.
Understand and follow timelines of delivery with weekly review of all garments in work to be sure all deadlines are achieved
Critical Daily tracking of all fit samples and factory follow up of all garments in work from 1st fit through TOP approval, with special attention to garments with possible delivery delays
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 years full fashioned sweater experiences a plus
Understanding of yarn, gauge, sweater construction and general sweater machinery
Ability to work to deadline while maintaining accuracy and quality of work
Must be highly organized with attention to details
Proactive work ethic and able to work independently and as part of a team
Very Strong written and verbal skills
Proficient in Excel, Adobe Illustrator and with an aptitude for learning new programs
